Give yourself time to recharge and be lazy if you need it 😊 Whenever I finish a manuscript, I take the next day either entirely off or very easy, just to give my mind a break! Listen to your body, sometimes a little time away does wonders 😘😘 #writingtips #authorlife #authorsofinstagram #amwriting

#IGWritersOct Day 29 - Rejections

I love photography! It’s something I do just for me, not to share, because I enjoy it—and sometimes, I like to think of writing the same way! Even though one is a hobby and one is my career, art is art and it’s something highly personal. Every one of my books has received a 5-star review, and every one has received a 1-star review. It’s impossible to please everyone! Rejection is just part of the job. But I write for me, I write the stories of my heart, which makes it a lot easier to embrace the love my work receives and shrug off the rest 😁😁 #authorlife #authorsofinstagram

#IGWritersOct Day 31 - October Wrap Up

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 🎃 My #MidnightFire covers were made for this holiday 👻 If you’ve never read them, Ignite is currently #free wherever ebooks are sold!

Today is also the last day of #IGWritersOct and the theme is October Wrap Up! This month, I finalized the manuscript of Stolen Goods and sent it off to my beta readers, I outlined Off the Grid, I continued work on a secret little side project, and finally, I checked a number of marketing things off my list! Big month, but they always seem to be, lol!
