I adore going on blog tours for my new releases, and one of my favorite things to do is revisit the stops after the tour ends to recap all of the amazing bloggers involved! And, well, to maybe also highlight some of the totally awesome things they've said about my books :)
And now is no different!
The Gathering Frost tour was FANTASTIC!! I was so thrilled that so many bloggers offered to host stops and take a chance on my new fairy tale adventure. But, I'll admit, I was even more excited about all of the wonderful reviews my new book received!
Without further ado, here's a look back at the tour!
Genius idea!…I'm excited to find out what happens next! Gathering Frost is a book I'd recommend to anyone who loves fairy tales and strong heroines in YA fiction.

I loved how the relationship developed and grew between Jade and Asher…If you like the current re-telling trend along with humour, action and a touch of romance, then I can definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to book 2!

The action scenes were fantastically illustrated and I really got a sense of what was going on. And there were definitely some twists and turns to keep you guessing!

- Reading To Distraction
I absolutely loved it! I love retellings and I love a wonderful plot and characters. I was completely into the story and had such a hard time pulling away from this beauty.
- A Thousand Lives Lived

Jade is pretty kick-ass. She's the best soldier the queen has and she's no damsel in distress. Her fight scenes are very descriptive and had me sitting on the edge of my seat.

I liked the feel of this story. It was fresh and sweet and warm and I felt for Jade and the life she had lived, having been captured so young. I liked the connection between Jade and prince Asher as it paced well and felt real given Jade's past.
- Realm of the Sapphired Dragon

Gathering Frost is one of those books that you promise yourself you'd only read one chapter, but it's so captivating you keep reading beyond that one chapter. I couldn't stop reading. I loved the idea, the world building, the writing.
- In My Secret Book World
- In My Secret Book World
I enjoyed seeing Jade move from a frozen, uncaring soldier to a normal girl. Her transformation and emotional upheaval really made the book…this one grabbed me and kept me interested all the way through.
- Mama Knows Books
In this book, Jade isn’t really asleep, but she is emotionless. That was really powerful and I liked the way that we got to see her character shift between feeling nothing and beginning to have emotions. The writing in those sections was really great...
- Neon Yeti Reads
If you like retellings, kick butt heroines, a lonely prince, ice queens then this is it!
- Kindle and Me
It’s creative, it’s different from what I was expecting of a retelling for Sleeping Beauty! Dystopian retellings? Totally different from other retellings I’ve seen, read, or heard of before!
- Books and Ashes
Was the curse really broken by True Love or does True Love not matter in this day and age?
- The Phantom Photographer
And a little bonus quote about my leading man, just because Asher needs some credit :) !!
